[Taking a break from her usual ikebana therapy, Ino's currently busy sorting out her wardrobe. Ever since most of her clothes got soaked by the storm during those fateful days, she has been carefully restoring her closet of her chosen outfits. Today's no different. After breakfast, she stopped by the clothing store and is now back with some shirts and skirts.]

I never thought a year worth of clothes is hard to replace! [A groan. Storing away her brand new clothes, she fishes out one familiar pair.] Good thing I saved my clothes from back home. Well, at least, some of it.

[A thoughtful pause as she continues to fix her wardrobe.] But wow, a year, huh? Never thought I'd be in this place that long. I guess with so many things that happened, time flew by so quickly.

Sure this place had given us a lot of headaches but it also gave us - or at least, me - a lot of good friends. [And a boyfran.] Hard not to think of that when you're complaining. [A snort, followed by the sound of someone trying to close a cabinet.]

You guys know who you are or do I have to send bouquets? I mean if that's-- Hey! [Oops, looks like someone just slipped trying to close her now full cabinet. With a huffpuff, Ino rolls her eyes.]

I think I'll need a bigger closet.

[Action]

[Generally, Ino will be out and about in the village today. She can be seen in the clothing store eyeing these sort of clothes. She's also looking through a bunch of shoes that are in another corner of the store. She may or may not buy these things. Also, one might also see her searching for a new cabinet. Feel free to bug her if you so wish!]

And why bouquets?

Yes, a year's worth. [Perfectly normal.]

And because flowers are the greatest expression of gratitude and affection. Of course, if you choose the right ones.

If you don't mind, may I ask why? [Not exactly normal, but what did she know? It's her latter answer that brings about the faintest blush to her cheeks.]

[The question makes her blink.] Um, because mine got destroyed by the storm so I'm now trying to replace them all?

[At her next questions, she smiles, though.] It depends on your relationship with the person. When you're in love with them romantically, you give them a lilac if they're your first love. If you want to express this love to them, give them a red rose.

Oh, is that what happened? [Okay, everything makes sense now! Though it's still a lot of clothes to replace at once.] Wouldn't it have been easier to replace them in parts, then?

Are you hoping to receive some of these flowers from someone?

[floralogy]

I do replace them in parts. Right after the cleanup, I've been restoring them little by little. [She's just replacing more of her clothes now.]

Oh, I receive them regularly from someone, believe me. [From her boyfran~]

... Little by little? [It still seemed like it was a lot of clothing, though in all honesty it shouldn't be her business how this woman chose to dress or how many articles she owned.]

Do you? I suppose it must be a comfort to you, to receive them.

[floralogy]

Mm. [Trust me, you don't wanna count how many clothes she owns.

She blinks at her last words, though.] Don't you?

Don't I what? [She wasn't quite sure what she was asking her, if it was a comfort to receive the bouquets or if she meant something else.]

[floralogy]

Don't you also receive bouquets, silly. [The 'silly' was just added as a light jest, really.]

[... Cue the blush because no, no that had been an experiment and thinking about it was a foolish mistake.

But she had loved it and still kept the pressed flowers carefully stored away.] I received one once...

[Now Ino's interest is suddenly piqued!]

Oh, what kind of flower did you receive?

[seleniahymn]

What kind? The bouquet I received was one of orchids.

[Not that she was very familiar with flower meanings, just the gesture had left her overwhelmingly happy.]

[floralogy]

You should consider yourself lucky, then. The orchid means that you're precious to someone since it's not common. It also means beauty, refinement and flattery.

[A giggle and then a smirk.] Seems to me whoever gave you these orchids view you as an elegant young lady.

Ah... [All right, that blush from before? Has completely overtaken her face once Ino finishes, not only for the meanings behind the flowers she had received but because of her own self-restrictions about her femininity. She wasn't sure what to think of having the spotlight on it.]

You truly think I should consider myself as such?

[floralogy]

I can't see why not. [Really, she can't. The question almost seemed like a little absurd to her. She's almost guessing this girl here's like Hinata or something. Maybe Ino should introduce her to her comrade or something and bond over some things.]

Every young lady should consider herself like that. I mean I'm sure you look positively beautiful. [Every girl should!!]

[If her friend was someone whom was not only modest and humble but at times shy, then that would be similar enough.]

That may be ideal for some, but I'm afraid that in my position it would be seen as inappropriate.

[floralogy]

How can something like that be considered inappropriate?

[WHAT EVEN!]

Because it has no place in combat or in the battlefield? [She thought that would be obvious...]

[floralogy]

Well, I'm a ninja but you don't see me ignoring the way I look. [There has to be balance!]

[seleniahymn]

... Is that really something you should be worrying for at the moment of battle? [Though she would like to be able to worry about that, Tear had long ago resolved herself that anything that brought emphasis to her femininity was something she should avoid.]

[floralogy]

Of course, you should worry about the battle itself but you should also worry about your appearance. It's very important for young women like us. [Ino doesn't really see how Tear can be this way unless she was brought up in an environment that required otherwise.]

[It was more an isolated environment where she and her brother weren't always treated kindly, given they were not native.]

And how would you suggest going about that, then?

[floralogy]

Make sure to wear fashionable yet functional outfits during battle. [Ino logic, you can has.]

Or fix your hair in a way that it won't be much of a bother when fighting, but it still looks pretty.
