Mostly, anyway...

[Heh. He still remembers that beach trip, after all. And while she cups his cheek, he'll idly run his fingers through her hair. Yup.]

But I mean... I know how it works and all, but there's a difference between knowing about it and actually... well, doing it. But I guess it'll be a learning experience for us both, huh?

[Oh, she always loves his hand through her hair.]

I'm sure it'd be one heck of an experience. [A beat and she leans in closer.] Wherein we can also show much we love each other so it's like hitting two birds with one stone.

[B'awww, Riku. How sweet can you possibly get?? Yeah, after that peck, she's just smiling from ear to ear now.]

Oh, Riku... [And because she can't handle her happiness, she captures him in a hug.] I appreciate how much you trust and love me. [Burying her face on his chest, the next words are a little muffled.] So much.

[He doesn't even think twice before he squeezes her back. He's used to it by now, after all. Besides, he wants her to feel safe. Secure.]

Well, hey, I'm the one who's really lucky. Almost a whole year with someone who loves, trusts, and appreciates me back? That's a huge deal. And I really am thankful, you know.

[So very, very thankful.]

And that's why I'm gonna do my best to make tomorrow a night you won't forget. Promise.
